So I've been told that if you crave more meats you are having a boy but if you crave more fruit and vegetables your having a girl is this true ... I find out the the gender in 2 weeks !

I'm convinced I'm having a girl !

I couldn't face fruit or veg for months and I'm having a little girl!

DeadDoorpost · 29/05/2019 17:02

I've had equal amounts of all sorts of old wives tales for both pregnancies.. first ended up being a boy, this time it's a girl.

My nan however knew both times. might start calling her a witch

FannyFeatures · 29/05/2019 17:04

I craved anything chalky (boxes of Rennie's hit the spot Blush) and ice during both pregnancies, 1 of each here.

Contraceptionismyfriend · 29/05/2019 17:05

That in the late stages the baby runs out of room and movements reduce Hmm

coffeeaddiction · 29/05/2019 17:07

Couldn't stand meat for the whole of pregnancy and I had a boy

userabcname · 29/05/2019 17:07

With my first I had all the "symptoms" of a girl - sickness, bump shape and size, where I gained weight etc. Had a boy! This time, more classic "boy" symptoms (very different to first time) and I am indeed having another boy! Good luck with your scan.

rosie1998 · 29/05/2019 17:08

It's just crazy when you hear things like this and then you notice what you eat more off ... It goes around and round in your head I've had 3 people tell me it's a boy from my belly and 5 people say it's a girl ... I also did the carbonate soda test. And there was no fizz ! I feel like I can't wait any longer 😂

I'm craving sweet stuff and lots of fruit which is unusual for me as I'm savoury all the way usually! Found out an hour ago that were having a boy! 💙

DeadButDelicious · 29/05/2019 17:40

I coulldn't even look at a vegetable when I was having my DD. They made me feel physically ill. And beans. I'm still a bit off them now tbh.

BillyAndTheSillies · 29/05/2019 17:44

That you'll glow.
Nope. 20 weeks, chest acne, face covered in spots, greasy hair. Grim!

mrsed1987 · 29/05/2019 17:46

that you carry all over if you are having a girl. i had a boy and carried all over lol

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 29/05/2019 18:24

That you suddenly get energy in the second trimester.

Lizbiz89 · 29/05/2019 18:44

That morning sickness is worse with a girl. I had way more ms with my ds than I did with my dd.

Spargle · 29/05/2019 21:43

Please, God, don’t let girl morning sickness be any worse than what I’ve had with this boy!

sirmione16 · 29/05/2019 21:46

Interesting. I didn't eat red meat before (literally since I was 3) and when pregnant with my son, I craved hamburgers and now I eat steak and all.

Bol87 · 29/05/2019 22:20

I had a girl & had no cravings what so ever! I was disappointed!

I did however get severe food aversions. I couldn’t eat chicken my entire pregnancy. And I went totally off chocolate much to my horror! I was genuinely concerned I’d never enjoy it again! (thankfully back to normal ha!)

SamStephens · 29/05/2019 22:27

I’m not a sweets person - I’ll happily take entree and main over main and dessert any time - when I was pregnant with my daughter though I became a chocolate fiend!! With my son I was happy with cheese and tomato on toast every day. I’m pregnant with another girl.. I’ve eaten a family sized bag of fantales in the last week lol can’t remember when I last ate fantales before this..

mumoftwo1988 · 29/05/2019 23:03

I have craved fruit this whole pregnancy and I'm having a boy
