Ways to hide pregnancy?

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant and we aren't going to tell anyone until after 12 weeks. We have a lot of things coming up e.g. Friends coming to stay for a weekend, a festival with work friends, weekened away glamping, bbq parties etc... How am I going to hide that I'm pregnant!? They'll definitely suspect it and some of the same friends will be the different events weeks apart but we really want it to keep is quiet... Any advice other than antibiotics I could use?

Yes I definitely am an overthinker nothing new there haha! I'm very bloated but I have IBS so I'm always bloated so I think if I start to show that won't be an issue!

Take a bottle of wine, empty it out, buy the alcohol free version... fill the wine bottle 😁😁

You can have sensible amounts of tonic water. The cases where issues were observed in newborns concerned mothers who had drunk around a litre of tonic water per day.

MyDCAreMarvel I’ve had a look on drugs.com and can’t find anything about the consumption of quinine in small quantities as a food product, only therapeutic doses as an anti malarial.

So perhaps you could furnish us with some reliable evidence that drinking tonic water is more dangerous than a glass of wine in pregnancy. This board is full of women dealing with various degrees of antenatal anxiety and scaremongering misinformation is not helpful.

I think excuses people will guess especially if you are a drinker anyway. I'd just pretend to drink if I really wanted to cover it up. The first thing I'd say to a friend who usually drinks if she said an excuse is 'pregnant'

I have the same problem! Lots of stuff coming up including our birthdays. We are going to announce it in July after the scan to family. So stressful!

I assumed people would notice after I had gone from trying to lose weight, eating lots of fruit and yoghurts and healthy lunches, to switching to a lot of crumpets and supernoodles everyday.
People didn't spot a thing and some even said I looked like id lost weight. It was only after the reveal that they clicked.

I'm hoping no one notices if I nurse a drink or just drink lemonade with some fruit in a gin glass, I'm home at my parents this weekend and that's what I did last night when my mum offered me a glass of wine and I said I fancied gin instead , I've never been a massive drinker anyway. I'm feeling very tired today and been having period like cramps. Is paracetamol the safest thing to take for these? Nurse told me no ibuprofen
