Clue is in the username. I'm just wondering when everyone's sickness started to ease off? I'm 13weeks4 and it's getting worse. It started around 7 weeks just a bit of vomiting in the morning and some nausea on and off throughout the day but the last few weeks have been horrendous. I'm currently throwing up around 4 times in the mornings, feel nauseous all day, often sick a few times during the afternoon when I'm at work and then the evening again I'm vomiting on and off for what feels like hours. Everything I've read has said it should have started easing off by now but it is 100% getting worse. Please fill me with some hope! X

It eased at about 17wks for me. Still get waves of nausea with certain smells such as coffee or if I eat too much, which is hard at work because by time lunch time arrives I’m starving so shoving food in my fat face Grin

In 2 of my pregnancies the sickness lasted upto about 16-18 weeks. In my 1st pregnancy it lasted till about 7 months, sick up to 10 times a day (sorry, I know this isn't what you need to hear).

Every pregnancy is different. You just have to find something that helps with the nausea (strawberry bonbons and vimto!). I even tried one of those 'sounds' CDs (can't remember what it's called) it didn't work, and when I listened to it post-pregnancy it made me feel sick again!

It's relentless and awful and at it worst can leave you unable to get out of bed. I hope it eases off for you soon.

Some people are not sick at all. Some people are sick daily until going into labour.

No amount of replies to this thread will help you determine when your sickness will end because the people writing the replies are not you. Everyone's different, our bodies all work differently.

I'm sorry that this isn't the response you were hoping for op and I hope your sickness eases soon Thanks

O didn't have any sickness. Just shows how different it can be. GP can give you tablets I think

25 weeks and still daily for me! Been on antiemetics since 8/9 weeks after a hospital stay.
It different for everyone, I wish I was one of the none sick people!

26 weeks and it's still here. Mine got really bad from around 11 weeks onwards.

If it helps, it has eased a lot since around 23 weeks and it's now manageable! If you are struggling with it and nothing is helping, go to your doctor and ask for medication. They were perfectly happy to prescribe me antiemetics at my 16 week midwife appt and seemed confused why I hadn't gone in for them before.

36 weeks and still being sick daily, sorry OP! I remember being at your stage and desperately searching for answers as to when it would all stop, it's horrible! If you're not already on medication please go and see your doctor and get some anti-sickness tablets, if they won't prescribe ask to see a different doctor because they can definitely give you something to help.

I can't recommend the Hypermedia support thread on here enough, they helped me through some very dark days and have all sorts of tips! Mine sickness and nausea did improve a bit around 20 weeks and I've only been sick 2-3 times a day since then up until a couple of weeks ago where it's got worse again (think it's down to a hormone surge at this stage). Take care of yourself and don't be afraid to ask for help!
