Did you go into labour after having a sweep?

Just wondering about the actual success rate of a sweep?

Had one yesterday morning at 1cm apparently and apart from feeling very twingey and uncomfortable all day, nothing has happened! No plug, nothing.

Yes, even though I was told it hadn't been successful. What followed 3 hours later, was a 52hr labour with a stuck baby, who clearly wasn't ready to come out. I wouldn't bother again to be honest.
