I’m a huge worry bot and now have given myself more reason to worry!
I made a homemade cheesecake and for the biscuit base I used some stork unsalted butter I melted it in the microwave so it was runny and mixed it with the biscuit base! Eaten two pieces and just realised the butter went off in JanuaryShock it didn’t look off or
Smell off and it tasted fine in the cheesecake!
Now panicking worrying if it’s going to give me listeria or whatever horror it says online. Any reassurance will be appreciated as it will play on my mind now!

It'll be completely fine. These things last waaaay longer than the overly cautious labels say

If it was bad you'd be able to tell by the smell

Don't give it another thought

You'll be fine! I am forever eating out of date butter and yoghurts lol. If it smells and looks fine, then it is safe to eat. Do not go by date, but always go by look and smell. Enjoy your cheesecake!

Things don't look at their date to know when they've gone off.

Even if it had I wouldn't be worried tbh.

It will be fine my husband is a chef and he said it will be ok,if it was off u would have noticed and most items are best before dates so its fine to use past the date.

Stork isn't butter though is it? It's a mixture of oils that have solidified -it's vegan so I can't imagine there is much in it to actually catch listeria from?

You will be fine!
