Hey, just posting to see it anyone else has had this? Just noticed around three little spots of blood on the tissue when I wiped this morning, so little but I got a fright.
I've put a pad on and theres been no more blood on subsequent trips to the loo.
I reckon it could be completely normal but just wondered if anyone else had this? Thanks!

I had significant amounts of blood on multiple occasions during my first 16 weeks - at some point I lost 2 pints - and the baby was fine. However, I have had spotting that didn't end well. How many weeks are you? If you see any other spotting , I'd personally contact your closest EPU for advice.

Sorry, just saw that you're 20 weeks. I'd be less worried but maybe worth mentioning it to your midwife.

Give your midwife a call just to be sure.

I spotted (quite heavily sometimes) through both of my pregnancies. Quite heavy bleed and taken in at 23 weeks with second. They did blood tests and established it was from me, not baby or placenta, if that makes sense and never found a cause. Continued spotting until birth but all well, perfectly healthy baby.

I would call your midwife, better to be safe xx

Thanks everyone, midwife sent me to maternity assessment and turns out I've got a UTI, glad I went.

Good, hope you’re feeling better soon. These things can be so easily missed and are often not serious but can cause so much worry. You must never feel anxious about contacting your midwife or a doctor about any troubling symptoms, it’s one of the things they’re for!
