Have you tried rolling over onto your other side? Sleeping slightly propped up? A walk or gentle exercise a few hours before bed to get baby into a different position? Cold water drink before bed to get baby to wriggle and move a bit to see if it will move into a different position? Hard to help - what have you tried?

I switch positions all the time she's constantly wiggling moving An balling up when I wanna sleep , I drink water cause i know they move when ur drink cold water , I don't snack cause I don't like to eat then lay down , I've tried pillows nothing helps

Babies tend to wake up a bit once the rocking motion of you walking around stops... you could try to soothe it with talking, rubbing belly, listening to music etc.

To get baby to change position try pelvis tilts, cat/cow positions on hand and knees, bouncing on a gym ball. There's no simple solutions unfortunately!

How far along are you? I'm having similar at the moment sometimes bits stick out in funny places that make bits of my bump so sore and tender! Nothing's helped so far Sad

I'm 27 weeks and ya she like balls up I'm a Curled position it's so uncomfortable, I tried to walk a little bit just now and bounce a little maybe try to rock her to sleep in the womb it's currently 3:30 am where I am , I never get sleep An when I do fall asleep I wake up at 12 pm or 1 in the after noon cause the lack of sleep I get at night

I’m exactly the same, really feel for you! 33 weeks and the kicking and positions are so uncomfortable. I’ve got a mammoth pregnancy pillow and have tried all the sleeping positions but sometimes there’s a half hour session about 2am that’s just painful! I have to get up, walk around the house, see if she/he settles a bit. Getting into newborn life early!

Yeah being up this late/ early is annoying like I wanna sleep ... I just tried walking to help see if she setttles down

Yes. I would say your best bet is the walking and gentle movements. Have you tried music or anything?

Hollowvictory · 16/05/2019 09:47

I had twins and one had a foot stuck behind my ribs for a while it was extremely painful

CautiouslyPessimistic · 16/05/2019 09:49

Sometimes they're just really uncomfortable - my first was mildly uncomfortable if I lay in certain positions, my second used to make me double over sometimes. Never worked out why, he just seemed to find sore spots!

I can only really recommend moving and propping yourself with pillows to try to find a position that isn't so bad.

Yes, before the "lightening" with mine (where they move down at the end ready to be born) I'd often have a baby in my ribs, pressed against my lungs or my stomach. More than uncomfortable. I slept propped up in the bed or sofa, and found walking helped to move baby a bit further down!

I can only lay on either side not much I can do positioning wise , I've tried pillows etc , today we were moving into our house and I did a lot of activity and I felt her literally move all day , now the days over I'm in bed and she's moving all over the place it's like she never sleeps or is pulling all nighters in there
