Hi everyone! I’ve just found out I’m 4 weeks and a few days pregnant and I’m really really nervous as this is my first time! Any advice and tips would be great whether it’s financial, medical and health. Anything would be appreciated for a very new and nervous mum to be! Thanks Smile

Have never heard that about the milk OP. You are absolutely fine to drink supermarket milk. The only milk you wouldn’t be able to have would be eg if you picked up some milk from a small supplier at a farmers market. Think whoever has told you that is misinformed!

Op some of the advise you're getting is a bit confused. I can see where it's come from but it's just got confused

Normal milk they sell in supermarkets is completely fine!! However milk straight from
Farms that is not pasteurised is not.

Ready to eat sandwiches and salads are also fine! Salad items must be washed before you eat them which they will be in the ready to eat sections. Uk food production has high standards so there is no need to avoid them

Here is the nhs list of things to avoid.
