Hi girls am just over 10 weeks but feel like I've been pregnant forever.
Anyone else like this?
I found at at 4 weeks, planned pregnancy, and time is just going so slow!
I just want to get out of first tri and have my scan cause right now I feel like I'm imagining being pregnant.
I'm a bit more tired than usual but other than that nada.
This is my second and I don't remember my first feeling this slow. It flew by. Though he was unplanned so maybe the panic made it feel time was faster ha.

@Whisky2014 I feel every word you're saying. I cried last night because my husband ordered a Long Island iced tea and it's my favourite drink! Pathetic I know but it's the social side of it.
Everyone asks about the baby all the time like there's nothing else to talk about it's annoying!

Whisky2014 · 06/05/2019 07:34

@jcq17 oh i love a long Island too! It is hard and I guess we all know our lives change as soon as we have the baby but actually, it's as soon as we are pregnant.
We had friends staying a few weeks back and one asked my husband if he had considered not drinking along with me (I wouldn't as him to) but he just laughed and said no chance. I honestly think if men were the ones to make the sacrifices and be pregnant there would be a lot less humans in the world!

*I'm just about 32 weeks.

First trimester DRAGGGGGED in, in fact up until about 16 weeks dragged. Then the 2nd trimester just flew by, I've been lucky and had a really good pregnancy thou, BUT since 28 weeks I feel time has stood still

8 weeks to go.... Yawwwwn*

I could have written this! But then I do have moments of thinking "shiiiiit baby could be here pretty soon really!" 😂

I’m 36 weeks and so bored an uncomfy plus don’t have the energy to socialise an when I do force myself I’m a right grumpy cow an just want to be back at home 😂

The first trimester dragged like a bitch during my last pregnancy. I spent it terrified I was going to have a third missed miscarriage, constantly over analysing every little symptom and ‘sign’, refusing to accept I was even pregnant and not wishing to get attached etc. Once I had the first scan at 13 weeks and it was good news, the rest of the pregnancy flew!

Xyzzzzz · 06/05/2019 16:21

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and it already feels soooooo long. It doesn’t help that my hormones have been really bad and I’ve felt every emotion under the sun.

mynameiscalypso · 06/05/2019 16:26

Another one who is so bored of pregnancy. I really don't like it at all (and I think you can not like it and also be very grateful for it). I hate being fat, not being able to do things I want to do (even things like I can't walk as fast as I would because it makes my bump hurt). I'm not excited at all because I'm too worried that something will go wrong and I spend my whole life on edge waiting for the next baby movement to reassure me for 12 seconds that he's still there. I don't want to talk about baby stuff with anyone, don't want to shop for the baby until we're much closer to due date, don't want to talk about names. Work is my salvation at the moment because at least then I can forget about it for a while and distract myself.

Xyzzzzz · 06/05/2019 16:35

Exactly! I hate pregnancy! I hate being fat and feeling ugly. I hate these hormones and I would much rather do the parent thing.

GivenchyDahhling · 06/05/2019 18:29

I’m 19+1. Some weeks have gone soooooo slowly and others have gone very quickly. Weeks 8-12 felt like the longest; 12-17 went quickly. But now I’m counting down to the 20 week scan and time is moving backwards again Confused

@snakes, don't totally agree with what your saying. I'm with @whisky on this one. Going out and being the only sober one (when your used to drinking) is soul destroyingly boring. I'm not one for having the odd glass of wine with dinner but when we go out in a group, we go out with all intentions of getting shit faced. Yes I'm a binge drinker and I love it.. sue me. Lol
So the idea of going out and watching everyone down shots and doubles and talk shite all night bores the tits off me... As does sitting in on a Saturday night every weekend watching BGT hahaha

And even at that moaning I'm bored, I've loved every minute of my pregnancy so far and wouldn't change it for the world.

As those mentioning running/exercise, I found my energy came back after the first trimester and I continued with my regular exercise routine (gym, spin, body attack) I only dropped high impact exercise about 24/25 weeks as it was making me feel I was going to wet myself every 2 mins haha I'm still going to gym and doing weights and strength training at 32 weeks. Just listen to your body.

kkl1 · 06/05/2019 22:28

I'm just 10 weeks 2 days and it feels like it's taking forever I won't to get to the 12 week mark but it feels like a life time away I suffer with health anixety so bad aswel so it's a constant worry atm this will be my thrid baby but I lost twins a few years back so that just sits in the back of my mind all the time to 😩 hopefully it will start to speed up soon haha

jp237 · 07/05/2019 00:16

I'm 21 weeks today so just passed the half way mark. We found out very early and although the weeks are climbing nicely, when I think about the time since we found out and realise I have nearly all of that time to go again it seems like a lifetime away! Especially since we have no more scans to come and we just can't wait to meet this little one! Worth the wait though!

sl07 · 08/05/2019 09:43

Yes mines dragging, currently 11 weeks. Everyone around me is having a good time drinking and being fast paced but everything for me is going slowwww.

LivingOnAPear · 08/05/2019 13:27

I hated the first trimester and most of the second and it did drag. I felt guilty as I had told myself I would really enjoy and make the most of this pregnancy. Hard when you are feeling ill and anxious. The first trimester does suck big time.

Now I’m 36 weeks and I’m worried the time will fly. Have so much to do before giving birth and it’s weird thinking it could be any day now or another 6 weeks.

Elm8
Yes I'm waiting for post too!
Some people have scan dates already and same stage, either their midwifes are more efficient with paper work or I just booked in late. Had my booking in at 10 weeks.
I'm very excited about scan and finally being able to tell everyone.
It will definitely make it feel more real.
