Ok so this may be a hate.me topic
So before I found out I was pregnant I drank and whilst my last bought of alcohol was bank holiday I felt terrible when I found out I was pregnant the next day....anyway when I was moaning to friends few told.me you can still have a small wine 2 units a week ??? Really is this true

I've read online it's OK, not sure how socially acceptable, but yes a small glass of wine will apparently not cause any harm.
Also you didn't know at the time so please don't feel guilty.

Yeah it’s true. I had a glass of champagne at my graduation while I was pregnant. In total I had about 3 glasses at separate times during my entire pregnancy.

It wasn’t worth it because I felt sick after a few sips anyway!

If your not that far gone then I wouldn't worry. I personally dont drink when I know I'm pregnant but I know loads of people who do. NHS says not to. Midwives say its probably ok. I think as long as you dont go over board it's fine.

OP it's literally years since I did this but I didn't know I was pregnant with my first for a few weeks and had a really heavy weekend during that time. By the time I saw a midwife I was shitting myself and imagining all sorts and she told me, when I confessed, that alcohol is very very unlikely to cause developmental damage at such an early stage. Like I say it's a long time ago now but that was certainly the thinking back then. All to do with development of the foetal sac and placenta and such. Fwiw dd1 was absolutely fine. Lots of women don't know they're pregnant immediately and young women having the lifestyles they generally do it's really common.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, try not to worry and wishing you all the best.
