What did people clean/do when nesting?
I'm 28 weeks, exhausted and know I need to get the house in order, it's always at the back of my mind.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I was into the 30 week range before I started nesting but I didn't finish as DS2 came early! But I found he was in with me for 6 months so I finished his room during that time

I only started nesting 2 days before i went into labour with my first! When i did start i went all out lol i was on my hands and knees scrubbing every inch on the wooden floors with a tooth brush and some cif! Plus the constant re arranging of rooms/folding of clothing in perfect order. I didnt even realise i was nesting until a few people pointed it out to me!

Thanks ladies, so will the nesting energy just kick in nearer birth?

I found needing absolutely horrible and scary. I don't have OCD, but it felt a bit like descriptions of it I've read by people who have it. It wasn't a case of suddenly getting energy and a case of feeling motivated to clean. In my case, it was a terrifying anxiety where I saw potential danger to my baby everywhere, and couldn't relax until I'd taken care of it, even if I was on the verge of collapsing with exhaustion.

Nesting, not needing.
