5 weeks pregnant - tender uterus

Hi
So I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and the last day or so my uterus has become really tender and uncomfortable - when sitting down and moving around. Also if I gently press on my lower right groin area it is tender and painful? Anyone had this at this stage?? (Also lower back ache)

My last pregnancy was ectopic which ruptured my left tube so obviously I'm more anxious (I do have a scan booked for next Wednesday to check whether this baby is in the right location)

Try not to worry too much. I am almost 10 weeks and have pain/discomfort almost every day including coccyx/lower back pain. It is your body adjusting and bean getting comfy.

If you are worried though or have any bleeding, go and see your GP. I think the rule generally is if you can change position and the discomfort stops or eases, it isn't anything to worry about (but I'm no medical professional...!)

Thanks @BobbySD345 it basically feels like a balloon in my uterus so is more uncomfortable and tender than really painful. My last pregnancy ended in a c section and I had an emergency operation last year to remove my ectopic pregnancy so I imagine I have a lot of scar tissue which is going to hurt as things start moving about down there.

Just got to make it to next weeks scan 🤞🤞

I had a lot of cramping around my uterus and stretchy achey pain from about 4/5 weeks. Might just be your uterus starting to stretch and baby nestling on in. Try not to worry unless the pain gets a lot worse! (i know thats easier said than done). Hope your scan goes well :)
