Who else is 38 weeks pregnant and bored of waiting?

I’m 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow! Due on the 6th of May with a little girl (my first) and am now starting to feel the boredom set in! I can no longer walk far because of my sciatica and extreme fatigue, I’ve done everything prep wise for her, so now what? Hahaha I have a gut feeling I’m going to be late as well which is sooooo annoying so could be another 4 weeks till I get to meet her!
Anyone else feeling bored? Any suggestions what to do? How’s everyone else feeling?

Not to rain on your parade, but don't get too hung up on the due date, something like 80% of first time mothers go past them. I went almost two weeks past with DD.

I'd spend the time on walks, naps, orgasms and hot chocolate

Well my day didn't go as planned today!
Supposed to be having a sweep at my midwife appointment this afternoon but unfortunately baby's head wasn't low down enough in my pelvis so that didn't happen! She then sent me straight to mau as I said I hadn't felt much movement this morning, now being kept in over night for monitoring and having a scan in the morning to check everything is ok!
Currently experiencing a lot of tightening, much stronger than ever before but not sure if that's because of all the poking and prodding thats gone on today.

@ftmtobe how are you getting on?? Is everything ok? These little pickles like to cause us nothing but worry don't they!!!

I have my second sweep at some point this morning so I am hoping that this one will be successful 😊 to say I'm looking forward to it would be a lie, but needs must to meet my little man.

@undercoverhero I was so sure labour was starting last night! Contractions every 5 minutes lasting 40-60 seconds for a good 2 n a half hours, had some codeine managed to fall asleep and when Iv woke up they've stopped! They definitely were not the usual Braxton Hicks Iv been having!
But on the plus side been back on the monitor and baby hasn't kept still since having some breakfast so they're happy to let me go home soon as Iv had a scan which is hopefully soon!

Good luck with your sweep today I'm so jealous (as weird as that sounds) hopefully both be meeting our babies very soon 🤗

@ftmtobe how did your scan go? Must have been so frustrating thinking it was about to happen kick off then waking up to nada!

I'm so bored !! Everything is prepped and now I have zero to do 🙄

@vitadolce2015 scan was perfect head was too far in my pelvis to get any measurements of it so that must be where my pain was coming from! Got a lovely little weight estimate of 6lb 4 too 😍
Contractions started again at about 2ish this afternoon and carried on all night but not close enough together yet! Looks like a long early labour for me really praying my waters go soon and things start moving!

@ftmtobe so exciting that something is happening though !! Hopefully your babe will be with you really soon and you won't have to wait too long now! I feel like I'm going a bit mad waiting around but so low in energy for having a bug I can't really do anything. Podcasts are my friend right now 😬

Is anyone else feeling a teensy bit nervous ? I just want him to be here safe and sound now !
