yes i would reccomend one, yes we hsd one, £200 i think, 45 minutes scanning time, ful dvd of scan, 6 pics that look exactly like my ds now he is here!!!

if you dont want to find out the sex it can be a bit difficult but if you speak to the sonographer i'm sure they would try and stay away from that area.

We are having one. Its going to cost £99.50 for a 20 min scan with DVD and 6 pics.

We are doing because we want to know the sex, may be a bit difficult if you dont.

We had one, cost just under £200. It was nice to put my mind at rest (you could count fingers and toes) but didn't think it looked anything like ds, though it was quite difficult as we didn't want to know the sex so the sonogragher had to stay quite close in and not too near vital bits!!
Good fun, don't know if its worth the money.

i would def recommened it
it was the highlight of my pregnancy
had a bit of a rough pregnancy really bad allday sickness hg in the 1st tri
borderline gestional diabetes
breech scare
bleeding and cramping m/c scare
high bp
and it was something that really helped me through the difficult times looking at the pics and dvd
we had ours done at 26 weeks and looks just like our lovely dd
it cost £150 for a 45min scan dvd and four framed photos and a cd with loads of photos on
it was worth ten times that to me and dh
i personally think it does help you to bond with your baby before they are evn born too i felt head over heals in love with dd months before she was born
so go for it xxxxx
also its something nice for your dc to see when there older

We had one yesterday and I think it was worth the money. Ours cost £125 for the DVD and an extra £20 for a large photograph. We asked our sonographer not to reveal the sex of the baby so she just didnt go near that area. I'm sure it wouldnt be a problem for you if you dont want to know the sex of the baby. Its also reassuring as you get to see the baby for a lot longer than you do when you go for the standard scans during your antenatal care.
