Did nipple stimulation induce your labour?

I'm overdue with my second child and I was told by my midwife that I can try and induce labour with nipple stimulation. Has anyone tried this and did it work?

I've heard this thrown around a lot and the logic behind it seems plausible but I haven't tried it myself. It will be interesting to hear peoples stories 😂

With ds I did. i was a week overdue. I had a sweep In the morning at 10. In the evening i sat of the sofa and gave it a go. I went into labour 30 mins later. However it wasnt like a natural labour and it didn't progress fast enough but I couldn't say 100% it was the stimulation.
I tried it about with DD just the stimulation and nothing happened

No but having sex and a good orgasm started contractions off if that helps!

My waters broke at 4 in the morning, a few hours earlier we'd had sex and had my nipple's played with...I was 38 weeks pregnant....not sure if they're linked or not, I'd had no previous signs of labor though apart from part of my plug coming away a few days previously
