  1. When your handle bar is in locked place (ie when you are pushing pram/seat) - does yours still kinda move a little up and down/wiggle a bit????

Just checking mine isn't faulty!

You can swivel handlebar. mine moves a bit when it is in locked pushing position whichever side of swivel position you lock it in (if you see what i mean)...slightly up and down/wriggly...is this normal? or should it be locked firmly and steadily with no movements.

  1. Also when trying to swivel - do you find it a bit tricky sometimes to swivel ie tricky to pull both levers on both sides...mine is it a bit fiddly but maybe needs breaking into...

  2. Also looking closely at carrycot - is it only the velcro straps that hold your baby?? scary!! It says suitable up to 9kgs...hmm no wonder if all that is holding the carrycot to frame is a few velcro straps!!

1)no - have you fastened the screws tightly enough after adjusting the bars?
2Why do you need to pull levers to swivel?
3)Never thought about it but yes its velcro! DS never fell out.

  1. sorry meant up and down in terms of swivelling motion - not extending motion....yes my handlebars are fully locked in terms of extension!

  2. the only way to swap/move handlbars to other side it to pull those two white levers up....that I know for a fact...just find it a bit tricky to get both levers up before swivelling action...

anyone?? bump...

basically to reexplain myself - does your bugaboo handlebar wobble forwards and backwards a teeny bit even though it is locked in (the pushing) position? eg if you try to lift the pram/seat does it move a bit or does it stay locked?

and folding/swiveling/flexing/rotating the handlbar from one side of the frame to the other - do you find it a tad tricky and sometimes you can't pull both white levers as simply as the instruction manual says it should be?

wondering in case need to return my bugaboo...

I don't have one myself, but I tried a couple out in shops and all of them had that wobbly handle thing you describe. I commented on it in one shop and the assistant looked at me like I was crazy to even think of criticising it lol so didn't say any more

Have recently given my frog to my sister following as need a double now but from what I remember

  1. yes, the handle does wobble, didn't bother me

  2. yes, switching the handlebar can be a bit tricky - it gets much easier with practice

  3. not sure, didn't ever notice this and haven't got it here to check

ta for messages...that is reasuring - was particularly worried that my handle bar was not locking into its fixed angle properly - but if you all say it wobbles once on the angle then that reassures me!!

too epxpensive to risk having a duff one!!!
