All face creams legally allowed to be sold in the UK and EU are safe for use in pregnancy. Same for all cosmetics. The only thing that could be excluded from that list is certain hair dyes.

@MissBPotter its not really a 'cream' like a moisturiser or a body lotion its a drying cream that drys out spots and pimples...

If it isn't mentioned that it isn't safe in pregnancy, it's grand. Presuming you bought it in a legit shop in a country with good safety standards.

It's only retinols you need to avoid. Google those ingredients and see if they are retinols

ThinkingAboutRL · 04/04/2019 21:24

@MissBPotter I am not sure that is true. Retinols are not advised during pregnancy but sold in the UK in lots of creams.....

@HJWT the problem you will have is that no products will have been tested on pregnant women so can't say they are safe for sure. Like retinols mentioned above. Most trusted skincare and make up 'experts' will say it is highly unlikely for anything to transfer through the skin and to the baby based on the small amounts applied and how much would actually get into our system.

Parabens aren't great (and not just during pregnancy). High doses of biotin are bad too, but I don't know what constitutes a 'high dose'.
