Excuse me if these are silly questions! First pregnancy and curious ! Is it normal not to feel ANYTHING at 14 weeks, approaching 15. No niggles, stretching etc ? Generally feeling normal. Cravings gone, extreme hunger gone, sleeping better etc etc. I have heard you do start to feel better I just don’t think I’ll ever stop worrying after having a mmc, but still nice to talk to others for reassurance ❤️

Chance of MMC after the 12 week scan is very, very slim. It’s normal for symptoms to come and go anyway and definitely normal to start feeling ok again in second trimester. I wouldn’t be overly worried.

I found it very odd from 14-19 weeks as my symptoms went but I wasn’t feeling any movement until then and didn’t have much of a bump. From 19 weeks I started getting movements, much more of a bump and awful indigestion so 14-19 weeks was probably the best part of my pregnancy looking back. It’s hard to shake the anxiety but you have to try and reassure yourself that there’s no reason to think anything is wrong

I remember that period after 12wk scan and before 20wk scan as when many pregnant friends paid for a private scan for exactly this reason - they felt better / more normal but it was well before any baby movement could be detected and it just makes you worry. I held out for 20wk scan but I can see why others don’t

Thanks ladies 😘 maybe I just need to start enjoying this bit!! Before like you say the indigestion / heartburn etc takes over. Xx

Don’t worry, it’s normal to be a bit anxious (not overly so - if you get that way then talk to your midwife), and there are always people to talk to on here. Once one worrying stage is past there is something new to worry about. Welcome to parenthood Grin
