I have the Theraline one. Like you, I wanted a BBHugme, but it was for my Christmas list, and I wasn’t about to put anything that expensive on it!
The people who buy the BBHugme seem to think that it is worth the money. Maybe they have more money than me, though...
I’ve really enjoyed the Theraline. The night I first used it was amazing - I felt comfortable again. I felt a bit like a fraud, because I’d slept so normally that clearly there was nothing wrong with me! (I was about 14 weeks at Christmas, I think, and my main problem at that stage was discomfort associated with bloating, which got fairly horrendous at times.)
Since then, I’ve used it every night I’ve been in the country (it’s not exactly portable when flying). I have no complaints. It moulds to my body shape nicely, and will bend either to support what I need supporting, or to get out of the way of what I’d rather not have being touched (my stomach, occasionally - 27 weeks now, so I don’t know how long this flexibility will last!).
I find it a really good length. I have it starting at chest height, and running down so that it supports my legs from knees to ankles. I sometimes drape myself over it a bit, too, which can be most satisfactory.
I don’t put my head on it, though - I use a feather pillow which I squash until it is thick enough to hold my head at the correct height. I think that if I wanted to put my head on it, I’d find this pillow a bit too short.
The cover is easy to remove, wash, and replace. However, it is filled with the tiniest of beads, and they are able to escape from the inner, slightly. I’d recommend doing anything with the cover off not on the bed, and vacuuming up the escaped beads afterwards. It’s by no means a massive problem, but I wouldn’t like to get into bed afterwards, unknowingly!
In summary, I like it. If I had the money I’d probably still go for the BBHugme, but I don’t, and am very satisfied with the Theraline.
