Cannot relax to enjoy pregnancy

I have had 3 miscarriages (8 weeks, 5 weeks and 11 weeks). Had our 12 week scan last week and everything was fine. Have now told friends and family but I cannot relax and keep expecting something to go wrong.
If you have been through this, what did you do to help you relax?

This is my first pregnancy so have no previous experience but I have been anxious and hesitant to get excited as I have very few symptoms which constantly make me worry. I'm now over 14w so feels like a lifetime until the next scan! I try not to look up to much online and avoid certain threads on here. I focus on making sure my body gets what it needs and am trying with pelvic floor exercises. I'm also reading what to expect when your expecting to hear about the possible joys I have to come this month. I find staying clear of the negative has really helped keep me looking forward. I'm not allowing myself to get excited and we haven't gone shopping yet as I don't want to do that until the next scan. it's a tough journey!

Hi, yes I have we lost twins at 7 weeks very early, but when I got pregnant again I constantly worried about things to eat/use/do I found after 14 weeks I felt better. I didn’t tell people until I was over 16 weeks but I don’t know if that helped. All I can say is it’ll pass well it should pass you don’t stop worrying but you do worry a little less. Good luck x

Hey sorry for your losses OP I don’t have that experiance but was feeling similar with my pregnancy. Kind of just didn’t focus too much on baby stuff or talk until week 20 and anomaly scan and even then til the end I was a bit blaze about it all as anything could have happened really. Doesn’t help much but just try to keep focussed on your usual everyday stuff.

'Enjoy' and 'pregnancy' don't belong in the same sentence anyway to be fair.

I found that reading books really helped me in the earlier days. I'd also set myself small milestones (say each week or two weeks) and treat myself to something when I made it to the milestone.
