So ladies... I have 3 children (6,5 and 1) and I am currently 7 weeks pregnant... as far as prams go, do I get a double or a single with a buggy board? My child will be 2 by then?

I would go double.
I’ve been a nanny for twent two years, at just 2 they don’t have the energy to walk all the time and or hold on to the buggy board.
I have tried, ended up getting the double buggy

My eldest was 2years 10 months when my second came along, I thought I could get away with the buggy board but ended up buying a second seat for my pram and we used it until he was 3 and a half.

How about single and sling the newborn. That leaves hands free for the toddler too. Baby can go in the buggy sometimes if you need a break, and toddler walking. Baby bac k in sling if toddler gets tired.

Single and a sling. I had twins just before ds1 turned 2.

What we did was encourage him to walk for short journeys - like to school - but chucked a sling in the basket for if it got too much. Popped a baby in sling and ds1 in pushchair. He was an absolute trooper and walked pretty constantly from then on. It just meant we gave ourselves much more time to walk. We tried a buggy-board but tbh it was a pain being stretched that bit further away from the pushchair, it wasn't a comfortable position for me.

If you have a pram rather than a pushchair you can get a seat to go over the top and baby city have a 'bench seat' but I don't know how that works with a newborn.

Double. For containment purposes. Could be a runner.

Reins for when walking. I know opinion is divided on them but as far as I'm concerned they are life savers.
