Hey

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I am in so much pain at my rib from what I think is babies foot. It's hard to roll over in bed, cough, sneeze blow nose without it hurting.

I've tried pillows, hot water bottle and paracetamol. Anyone else have any tips? Xx

I had the same thing with my son in my last pregnancy! It was horrible! The skin even went numb in that area cos his foot was constantly there!
I would spend a fair amount of time on all fours as it helped move him a bit and take the pressure off...i also put ice on aswell and that got him to move his foot! (But not for long)
The only true relief?? Giving birth.

Check his position though, if you haven't already as in all my notes at midwife checks they'd written 'OP' which meant he was back to back.... i wish i had known as i would ve tried hard to attempt to move him!
I had a difficult labour and had a c section.

Thats not to scare you! I just wish someone would've told me xx

That's horrible, poor you. I sometimes get this but luckily enough, baby terms to move it up rub it's foot (or what ever it is digging in). I wonder if it's worth trying something cold to encourage it to move?

Thanks I will try put an ice pack on it! I'm going to try a warm bath and then call the hospital just to make sure all sounds ok XX

I just try and move baby around a little and get someone to rub my back so she moves the pain goes away straight away
