Endo pain and pregnancy

I have endometriosis and am about 6 weeks pregnant.
I'm suddenly getting really bad endo pain and I don't know if this is normal, I don't want to be over the top but I'm so scared I'm going to lose my baby!
The pain is absolutely awful! :(

I have endo but find mine relatively mild these days. I tend to experience pain in my back, hips and lower abdomen.

In early pregnancy I was quite sore and felt very tender in the same areas. I mentioned it to my midwife who just looked at me very vaguely and said it was normal.

I would say tender areas, aches, mild period type like pains are normal. If they are really severe pains, I would get checked out.

Yes it could absolutely be your endo but only 6 weeks, I think it would be sensible to rule out ectopics etc. Us endo ladies are used to having to deal with pain but I'd hate you to assume it was endo without checking with your midwife or GP first.

Hope you feel better soon.

I have endo but was of the understanding that it basically pauses when pregnant as you're not having a a cycle so it doesn't do anything? (was told this by my consultant when diagnoses as inbetween surgery and results I got pregnant)

My endo pain stopped when I got in to the 2nd trimester. I figured the pain I got in the first trimester was all the endo stretching. Mine is on my ligaments and the back of my uterus.
I'm now 26 weeks and can say I've lived a pain free life for a few months- it's been amazing.

Don't forget some stretching and cramping is normal in the first trimester so it's only going to be more significant if you have endometriosis.

Ahhhhh @crunchycrunchycrunchy that makes sense now why you might still get some pain from it.
