Hi,
I'm 39 and this is my first. I have sore bbs (on and off), intermittent cramps, super tired and am weeing like a cart horse. Other than that - nada! Does this sound right? Not got my appointment through for anything yet.

I didn't feel sick with either of mine.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 13/03/2019 18:41

I didn’t get sick until 8 weeks with any of mine.

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 13/03/2019 18:42

Some women don't suffer morning sickness. Some don't start until 8 or 9 weeks, I started both times around then.
Don't worry, I'd just enjoy it while it lasts!

Hollowvictory · 13/03/2019 18:42

I never felt sick and I had twins

OrigamiZoo · 13/03/2019 18:43

I never felt sick, it's not a given. Congratulations btw!

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 13/03/2019 18:43

I didn't get sickness until 8 weeks. Then it was horrendous till 12 weeks. Enjoy been sickness free as it might not last!

Heyha · 13/03/2019 19:16

I had nausea (managed by food) but only a tiny bit of sickness. I had almost as many vom episodes in second trimester as the first to be honest!

Missbdhfc · 13/03/2019 19:47

Thanks for the reassurances. Frightening times. Not enjoying the waiting game for the scan...

I didn’t really have any sickness, up until weeks 12-14 which was acid reflux related. I did however have the sore boobs and crampy feelings like you describe. Some people are lucky enough not to get any sickness or nausea, or it can start later on. Congrats on your pregnancy x

pastabest · 13/03/2019 19:52

It differs between women and pregnancies.

I've been pregnant 3 times and the worst sickness was with the pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage.

Miscarriage: sick from 6-10 weeks, daily nausea lasting most of the day, knew I was pregnant when I threw up for the first time in years.

DC1 nausea mornings, mid afternoons and early evening (when I was hungry basically)

DC2 I had no sickness whatsoever.

YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch · 13/03/2019 20:04

I had no sickness during my pregnancy. Not even a slight feeling.

MrsC87 · 13/03/2019 20:30

Just wait, week 10 and sickness hit me. Lost over a stone in the 1st Trimester x

GreenDill · 13/03/2019 21:19

I didn’t get morning sickness with any of my pregnancy’s, it’s not always a given

PodgeBod · 13/03/2019 21:22

I didnt get sick until 8-10 weeks with mine, and the second I only threw up once (might even have been something I ate). They were both girls.

JE87 · 13/03/2019 21:34

I haven't had any sickness and I'm 14 weeks!

PBobs · 13/03/2019 21:46

I haven't had any sickness and I'm 27+3. I sometimes have very light nausea when I'm hungry but that was the same pre-pregnancy. I'm just more hungry more often now. Hehe. I also haven't had much else in terms of symptoms except a lot of peeing, growing pains and waking up in the night.

Melamine · 13/03/2019 21:51

I’m close in age to you, expecting first & zero sickness. Closest I had was that debilitating hunger that makes you feel a bit funny...soon fixed with eating!

Doilooklikeatourist · 13/03/2019 21:53

Had 2 pregnancies , resulting in 2 babies ( girl and boy )
No sickness
Had instead
Sore boobs
Funny taste in mouth ( metal ? )
Extreme tiredness ( I mean really tired , cant wake me up if I sat down , I’d be asleep )
Restless legs ( awful )
Nightmares
Hope that gives you some reassurance ( and something to look forward to )

icanthelpyou · 13/03/2019 21:54

It’s different for everyone

Lunaxoxo · 14/03/2019 14:57

I’m 9+4 and no sickness yet, felt a little nauseous a couple of times for all of about 20 seconds
My main symptom is tiredness. Nothing else apart from the occasional sensitive boobs x
