Bluetooth etc - Safe in pregnancy?

Hello ladies. I've recently started obsessing about this question. I'm really not into gadgets, and I only use technology when I have to.
But I work full time, on a computer, which is an iMac desktop with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
There are days where I sit at the machine all day, typing ... the mouse and keyboard being at about 25cm from my tummy.
Is this safe? Confused
None of you probably knows for sure, but have you had a similar experience and did your babies turn out OK?
Weird question, I know, but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks xx

Why wouldn't it be safe? Bluetooth works over radio waves, there are loads all around you whether you use Bluetooth or not (WiFi, radio etc.)

Given how widespread the use of radio waves/blue tooth is I think if damage were caused it would be so frequently occurring that we would be very aware of it.

I worked in an office throughout my first pregnancy and used mobile/blue tooth and DS is now 2 with no ill effects.

I mean this very gently but are you finding that you are very anxious generally? It's common to develop anxiety in pregnancy and there is help and support available so you might find talking to your midwife or GP helpful.

Thank you both. I do get a bit paranoid reading about the EMF exposure in our homes. I know it's completely normal but I am going through a period where I'm working on the iMac non stop, and I get very worried because this desktop uses all the wireless technology possible and it can't even be connected through a cable. I was toying with the idea of buying a proper EMF meter on Amazon but I'm too scared that it will start showing unsafe levels in my home and I'll be even more paranoid. Has anyone else had the same type of anxiety and found any reliable info / studies on this? @Sunshinegirl, yes I'm quite anxious generally ;)
Thanks

Radio waves carry far less energy than visible light (e=hf). Don't live in the dark!! No need to turn off the lights.

Seriously though, all the emf scare-mongering is mostly made by people who don't fully understand the science...

There is only one frequency that directly affects human health - the one used by microwave ovens. That frequency of photons causes resonance in water molecules, which causes them to vibrate faster. Faster vibrations of molecules is detected as heat (this is how microwave ovens cause things containing water to heat up). The human body is mostly water, so if you went into a microwave oven and turned it on, you would cook yourself from the inside, which would obviously have a negative impact on a pregnant woman (or any other person).

Some people claim to be emf sensitive. There is no scientific reasoning or explanation for this. Some people believe in psychics or magic crystals too.
