I had a sweep on monday started with tightenings which start and stop.

lost my plug tuesday morning very painful tightenings which stopped haven't slept in 3 nights massive anxiety attacks pain across stomach and barely eating or drinking.

I sat and cried all day today and just vomiting i feel really spacey and not in my own body.

I keep getting a strong smell of smoke and just don't feel right I'm getting checked twice a week for reduced movement but over past couple days any movement has felt very weak i don't know if thats cause im not feeling good.

Would you get this checked or just wait until tommorow.

Get it checked. The first 24 hours after reduced movements are the most important, I was told by my consultant.

DustyDoorframes · 07/03/2019 17:57

Yes, get checked. If you've barely eaten or drunk in days you are likely dehydrated, and that's worth getting checked out too. If your MAU is closed you can just turn up at labour wars, that's what they are there for.

DustyDoorframes · 07/03/2019 17:57

Labour wars even...

SinkyMalinks · 07/03/2019 19:14

I had exactly this with my first. A long latent labour. Not sleeping, not eating or drinking. I was utterly irrational - hiding food from my husband and saying I’d eaten.

Go in. I went in a few times. Was given morphine injections a few time. Got checked over each time. I did end up very dehydrated though and I think had a difficult labour as a result. Not to say you will, but look after yourself!! Drink (I didn’t!) and try and listen to advice (I didn’t!)

DelphiMum · 07/03/2019 19:20

You have to eat and drink. You are going to need your strength.

You can always call triage for advice before going in if you aren’t sure.

Thanks i went up to labour ward bp was a bit high and abit dehydrated.

Definitely in early stages of labour I've to go back up tommorow morning to try kick things of. Contractions are 76 ish just now

I've just had a very strange day felt like my body didn't belong to me like i was just out of it horrible feeling.

I did try a few bites today but kept vomiting.

Just want this over with such a horrible way to labour.

Oh OP it sounds really tough! Ice lollies can be good, to get a little liquid and some calories.
Good luck today!

gothicsprout · 08/03/2019 08:45

I kept vomiting during labour and started getting dehydrated so they were able to give me an injection to stop throwing up - might be worth asking about if you still can’t keep anything down. Good luck!

VioletGInPlease · 08/03/2019 09:13

I had a ice lollie last night just to help with my throat.

It's the damn awful anxiety spacey feeling it's horrible.

It's freaking me out and i think that's what is stopping my labour progressing it just feels like a loosing battle.

I'm due for another sweep today then i think there just going to break my waters if nothing progresses as im due to be induced in a week anyway.

Is there anything during labour they can give you for anxiety etc i had a horrendous 3rd labour and birth and think this is where this is all stemming from x
