Can anyone recommend a sling that you don't tie yourself?

I've had to return a sling I bought that you tie yourself because it's such a hassle and I've practiced fifty bloody times and just can't get it right, plus DH will use it sometimes and I just don't want the faff. Can anyone recommend a lightweight sling that i don't need to tie myself? Will mainly be used in summer so important for it to be breathable.

Integra do a buckle type baby carrier that’s suitable from birth. When they were still called connecta they had an extra thin and lightweight version called solar.

Boba Air is another really lightweight one that a friend of mine has and really loves.

You’re best off finding a local sling library though to try a few out to see what would suit you.

I would second getting yourself to a sling library if you have one near you. I tried out a close caboo initially and really could not get on with it. I ended up buying an ergobaby carrier eventually after trying it out. I love this carrier but it might not be right for everyone.

I have a close Caboo and loved using it. It took my daughter a couple of goes in it to get used to it but I found it very easy to put on and comfortable. I was put off of carriers like the ergo baby as there is a clip between the shoulder blades that needs doing up and I just found it too awkward on my own. The caboo just slips over your heard and arms like a t-shirt. However as with all these things it comes down to personal preference. Finding your nearest sling library is definitely a good idea.

'Je Port Mon Babe' slings are great; newborn insert so can be used from the begining and they have a flap at the back that you can roll up for ventilation. They are expensive but I did a lot of research before buying ours with our last lo and they did not disappoint.

Check out an Izmi carrier, they are lightweight/fabric but with three clips instead of the getting tangled in miles of fabric...
