Really bad pelvic pain

I have a GP appointment next week so will ask then if its still going on, but thought I'd ask here as well in case anyone has the same thing.
About a week ago I started getting sharp pain in the side of my bump, on the lower half, which from googling I think was round ligament pain. I still have this but now I also have really awful pain in the centre of my pelvis, over my pubic bone. I feel it at a low level constantly but when I walk its incredibly painful. It also hurts when I move my legs when sitting down, so for example sitting at my desk now with both feet on the ground, if I lift one foot up slightly move where my foot is, or if I lift one leg to sit with my legs crossed, it really hurts during the movement.
Is this still round ligament pain that might pass, or is it the start of something like SPD? I'm 24+3 btw.

Sound like spd, I had it with my last 2 pregnancies. It gets worse so get it checked out.

That's what I was afraid of :(
I'll speak to my GP at my appointment next Monday. Any simple things I can do in the meantime to help? Is it best to rest as much as possible, or to walk a bit to keep it moving?

I was told to rest (not that simple though when you have other children) you can but a maternity belt it helps some women. Spd is awful I was on crutches from 36 weeks 🙈

The pelvic partnership website has loads of helpful hints and tips about managing pelvic girdle pain (a more genetic term than spd).

I'm 39+4 and have had it since about 11 weeks. I still can't get my head around how this could be an evolutionary advantage... I'm essentially couch-bound these days...

Sounds like pgp/spd. I struggled through my first pregnancy on crutches unable to really do much. It's been pretty bad at times this one but I've been seeing a physio that specialises in pregnancy who has been manipulating my pelvis so it's even and giving me gentle exercises to do. This has been really helping, don't get me wrong I'm still really sore at the end of the day if I've overdone it but I'm managing to function with normal day to day tasks which I couldn't last time.
I've had to pay privately for this but it's been money well spent. I think the pelvic partnership has a list of recommended professionals on their website.
