Had a scan today I'm 13 weeks with baby number 3 I have a girl and boy and was just wondering what do you all think ? I'm finding out on the 30th of march 😊

@reagansummer No thanks, not all of us want to research this or be told what we should or shouldn't say/think. If you want to be an advocate for change in a positive way then try giving others kindness and respect and they might listen to you a little more.

Every time somebody feels the overwhelming need to correct on a thread like this. The OP is happy and just wanting to share this / ask if people think she’s having a boy or girl. It just ruins it, as someone else has rightly mentioned the bloody hospitals use ‘gender’ too as it’s a widely used term. Yes it may be becoming outdated but fgs give it a rest. This is a pregnancy board....

God love you. It hasn’t become a thing to use sex instead of gender. It’s the other way around, and there are concerning reasons for that. No one mentioning that is suggesting that the op should be anything other than happy about her baby, though, so no need to get het up on that front.
But maybe inform yourselves a bit about what’s happening out there before telling others they shouldn’t care about it!

Funny that a gender reveal party is called a gender reveal because that's what it is.

If the hospitals use gender that’s what I’m going to use.

Hello ladies. I'm the OP of this thread I decided to change my name. I let people upset me at first but what doesn't when you have so many hormones. Thank you to all you wonderful ladies who stuck up for me 😊 I have my early GENDER scan booked for the 30th so I will let you all know. Again thank you! Nice to see you back OP. I'm excited for you. It's such a lovely exciting time!! Mine was born few months ago an I'd quite happily see another baby in my belly. Don't think DP would be just yet.😂😂 Hormones are thee worst but I think some posters went a bit ott. Definitely let us know what you're having. Still think boy 😊

I clicked on this thread to see how many people had made ridiculous sarcastic comments about use of the word ‘gender’ and yep, there they were! OP didn’t mean to offend anyone and it’s getting a bit boring now, there’s no need for rudeness and to try and make someone feel stupid.
