4th baby on the way...I have 3 boys...and never knew what they were...First i wanted a girl so just said "i think its a girl" with no real instinct (It was a boy)...Second i had totally differant symptoms...So believed "must be a girl" (but was a boy...) my third i was so used to "its a boy" i just said to everyone "i know its a boy" (He was a boy LOL) Im on number 4 now...And i just have a gut feeling its a girl...Ive always wanted a girl deep down...And let my mind believe and hope at times with my boys...But this time i just feel like its happened...(Hoping im not just getting obsessive of the idea) and i know what will be will be.And honestly health really is everything and im blessed with my 3 boys...But just any gender stories would be lovely to read Smile

@Stickyshoess how amazing...Its a big put off for me believing myself because im akways wrong...But genuinely think with my 3 boys it was more hope than a real feeling...I have a calm contended feeling inside me like sonething ive always wanted has happend...i will feel so crazy if im wrong.Trying not to get too invested into it lol

I'm only twelve weeks so have a while to go yet. Of course, I'm happy either way but not gonna lie, a girl would be brilliant!

My3boys9910 · 04/03/2019 20:11

@Sevo7 thats amazing...See with my boys i had a bunch of differing symptoms...so i cant compare now...my bump was always to the front and neat though...i heard girls gave you more hips ect it obvioisly is 50 50 and so hard to really tell...but i am quite spiritual & love to hear the stories

I have 3 girls and 18wks with dc4.

With dd1 I thought she would be a boy based on old wives of how I was carrying and no sickness. We didn't find out until the birth.

With dd2 and dd3 both pregnancies felt different, different symptoms but we did find out at 20wks for both. Dd2 didn't have a clue before scan and dd3 I thought she would be a girl.

Expecting dc4 and we will find out in 3wks time, but I'm setting my expectations as girl again. I would love a boy but I can't imagine it. I won't be disappointed with a girl.

macaroniandpizza · 04/03/2019 20:27

I said right from the start i was having a boy and 4d scan at 26wks confirmed it. Hes almost 4 now

happymummy12345 · 04/03/2019 20:31

We didn't want to find out until the birth and we didn't. And tbh i didn't think about too much at first. But towards the 6 month mark I had a feeling we were having a boy. Then I had that magical moment (in my opinion) when the midwife said "it's a boy". And I thought so I was right..
(To be clear the magical moment is hearing the words "it's a boy or it's a girl. I didn't only find it magical or special because I had a boy. I'd feel exactly the same regardless).

FairfaxAikman · 04/03/2019 20:36

I was so adamant that DC1 was a boy that when we were told girl at our 20 week scan I refused to tell anyone because the sonographer was wrong.

I was right, he was a boy.

flowersaremyfave · 04/03/2019 20:58

I'm pregnant with my 6th
I had no idea with first 3 dc (from my first marriage) because I felt and looked the same, no morning sickness and really easier pregnancy's.

Dc4 I knew was a girl I could just feel it I craved all sweet things and was really neat. Dc5 I craved savoury from day one couldn't even touch something sweet, got fat and was sure I was having a boy, found out at 16 weeks that she was a girl, I also had horrendous morning sickness from 6 weeks with both girls and every pregnancy symptom going, I blame dh lol the midwife told me different partners can cause totally different pregnancies. I'm 9 weeks pregnant atm and apart from tiredness, bloating and being hungry all the time I feel normal and not even pregnant so my guess is this one is a boy

ReaganSomerset · 04/03/2019 21:03

Try and imagine it as a boy, OP. Think of it as a boy. Then you won't be as disappointed if it is a boy, but will be pleasantly surprised if it's a girl.

namechange0123 · 05/03/2019 06:02

I have only one DS and knew it was a boy from the start.

Went for a private gender scan at 16 weeks, the sonographer said "We are at the early limit, don't know if I can give you the answer" but as soon as he started, DS appeared with his legs fully open Grin

namechange0123 · 05/03/2019 06:05

Agree with @ReaganSomerset , I had done the same as I also wanted a girl deep down.

But now that he's in my bed with teething pain&fever touching my face for comfort, I don't care anymore!

Zoflorabore · 05/03/2019 06:14

Hi op, I have a ds (16) and a dd (8) and I 100% "knew" before any scan. I am a bit psychic though and have this weird knack of knowing when people are pregnant even if they don't know Grin and the happiest experience of that was my mum's best friend's dd who had fertility problems and had pretty much given up. We went to a birthday thing and she was there and I spoke to her and her husband and as I was leaving I told her to get a pregnancy test. They did the next day ( thinking I was crazy no doubt ) and she was indeed pg. I then told my mum around 18m ago that I had a
feeling that this girl was pg again and my mum said she was and had just found out.
I think they're scared to see me now!

Anyway back to the subject, i can't explain how I knew but I did. When I had 20 week scans with both of them I told them I knew
what sex they were and both were right. Obviously I had a 50% chance of being right but I was totally and utterly convinced and had both names decided in the first trimester.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you Flowers

Valdy · 05/03/2019 06:27

I have 1 DS and just knew he was a boy - I couldn't see myself going into the scan and then saying 'girl'!! Pregnant with my 2nd and again just knew I was having a boy. Everyone thought I may be having a girl, but I think that's because everyone wanted me to have a girl. Having another boy and couldn't be happier! 2 boys under 2, what am I going to do 😬🤣

Knackeredmommy · 05/03/2019 06:36

I knew my DS was a boy, but really wanted a girl! With my 2nd, I knew she was a girl, I almost started buying baby girl clothes but held back. Didn't find out either time just instinct.

Mmmhmmokdear · 05/03/2019 06:44

I was convinced both mine were boys - they were both girls. DH on the other hand said from the second I told him I was pregnant that they were girls!

Longislandicedme · 05/03/2019 07:28

I’m 5 weeks and convinced this baby is a boy but I’m always wrong! I have a son already and I was convinced he was a girl til I had my scan, this pregnancy already feels different to his but I can just see myself with another boy. I’d be happy with either but I think if they say it’s a girl I’d be scooping my jaw off the floor!

My3boys9910 · 05/03/2019 07:33

Lovely stories everyone & thanks so much for your replys...i will in no way be dissapointed with another son...Or i wouldnt try again...and never "try for a girl" we want another baby regardless...Its just the first time ive had that "Feeling" other than hope that its a girl...And its nice to know other people have had it...weather they were right or wrong...💙❤

Yogagirl123 · 05/03/2019 07:43

I secretly hoped for a boy with my first pregnancy and I was told at the scan he was a boy.

With my second pregnancy it seemed so different I thought it’s a girl, but no another lovely boy.

Good luck OP, hoping you get the news you want.

With DS I knew as soon as I took the test that he was a little boy, the idea that it was a girl was never entertained. I’m now 7 weeks pregnant, and I’m adamant that this is another boy.

boodles101 · 19/04/2019 19:09

I had a dream with #1 that I gave birth to a boy. I had all the typical wives tales pointing towards a boy and he was indeed a boy.
This time I'm pregnant with twins. From the start I felt they are both boys. But then I had another dream where a sonograoher told me it's one of each, so that has swayed my mind a bit. 12 days til I find out!

ftmtobe · 19/04/2019 21:16

I am due in 19 days and still have absolutely no idea what I'm having! No gut feeling at all! But I did post my 4d scan on a gender guessing page on Facebook and had over 100 people guess boy and only 8 guess girl so that's kind of swung me towards boy 😂
