Hiccups always a good sign?

So I seen my baby hiccuping on an ultrasound at only 13 weeks which was adorable and then was told at my 20 week midwife appointment I would probably start to feel them now and then which after a few weeks I did!

I am now 30 weeks and for the past week I have felt it every day at least twice a day so I thought I'd google how often is normal which has got me a little worried. Some say it is a good sign and some say that feeling the baby hiccup too often can often mean there is a problem?

Also what I find strange is that although I feel my baby moving around like crazy all day the hiccups are always in the exact same spot, so could I be mistaking something else for the hiccups?

I have my next midwife appointment on Wednesday so I will be sure to ask her about it then just wondering if anyone can give me any information now to put my mind at rest?

My firstborn hiccuped at least once a day & he was born absolutely perfect! Second hiccuped less & was also perfect. I haven't heard that it's anything to worry about x

My baby hiccuped every day while I was pregnant and I also always felt it in the same place, she's now sat on my lap hiccuping and still hiccups every day!

I had a hiccupy baby too, in and out the womb. No problems!

It's them practicing for breathing it's fine. I had a very hiccupy one and she still hiccups all the time now.

It's totally normal, don't worry.
