No experience in an unstable lie unfortunately, this little lady is breech so I'm looking at a section, this was the last thing I wanted. I got excited last week as I thought she had turn but no just dropped lower. They have said she won't turn now with no fluid 😔 I've never seen the same consultant twice and they all tell you different things, this last 6 weeks have been so stressful, I just want to know the end is in sight now. In regards to fluid they told me at the begining if it dropped below 5 it would be an automatic admission and getting baby out, it's dropped below 5 three times now and they still won't do anything even though they have said they think the fluids are low as my placenta is failing

IVEgottheDECAF · 28/02/2019 11:10

Exhausted that is awful!

I have been given the name of my consultant already, i hope this is a sign of consistency!

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 11:16

@IVEgottheDECAF they didn't admit me, they said it was common for woman that had had multiple births because everything was looser so it was hard for babies head to stay engaged 🙈 I was check at 39 weeks she was breech they said if she was still breech at 40 weeks then I would need a c section but at 40+1 I went into labour and baby had moved into the right position, she was born 24 minutes after getting to the hospital so they had to check quickly if she was in the right position I could of very easily of given birth to a breech baby thanks to their carelessness 😤

@Exhaustedmummy1811 that is awful 😠 have you complained? I'm not a doctor but surely that's too low and they should think of getting baby out now! Even if she was born now she would have a great chance of everything being ok. I don't know why they insist of keeping them in when it's really not necessary at this point, wouldn't it surely be safer to have her out rather than in?

This is what I said, I would rather she be out and have to spend a small amount of time in nicu and know she is safe than keep going through this worry. They said if the placenta fails it will cut off her air supply instantly so I don't understand their reluctance to get her out. I have another scan and consultant appointment on Monday but if I'm not happy with what they say, I'm going to go to the hospital and say there is reduced movement (there isn't but I know they will listen then) that coupled with low fluidnshouldnbe enough for them to do something, I hope

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 11:32

@Exhaustedmummy1811 I don't blame you I would do exactly the same. Good luck for Monday 🤞🏼

flowers people i have seen on other forums discussing unstable lie have been admitted incase they went into labour and the cord was compressed, some were checked daily in hospital and once baby was in position they were induced

Helsvamp · 28/02/2019 11:37

Number 4

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 12:03

@IVEgottheDECAF 😳 I didn't get any of that. Sometimes I do think that the more children you have the less shits the doctors give about you. I was treated so differently with my first 3, the last 2 I went weeks without seeing a midwife. I had my booking in appointment at 11 weeks and I'd let them know when I was 6 weeks 🙈

I've just had my appointment for my 12 week scan come through the door. 19th of March, I'll either be 12 weeks exactly on that date or 10+6.

Congratulations @Helsvamp how far along are you?

I am definitely going to ask consultant about what is likely to happen with an unstable lie. I really don't fancy being admitted for weeks on end.

My last two babies i went in to hospital and was home with a baby within 10 hours

flowersaremyfave · 01/03/2019 14:05

Anyone felt flutters early on? I felt them at 9/10 weeks with my last and I've been feeling these on and off since Tuesday?

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 01/03/2019 14:15

Flutters for a couple of weeks now, 12+2 and feeling movement daily

flowersaremyfave · 01/03/2019 14:17

Oh really. My friend said they can't possible be flutters this early on but I guess you feel and notice them when you've had a lot of pregnancies lol they were definitely flutters and I feel them more when I'm on my front.

IVEgottheDECAF · 01/03/2019 14:39

Yes i had flutters before 12 weeks with dc4 too

Exhaustedmummy1811 · 01/03/2019 15:02

I always thought the hospital got my dates wrong as I didn't find out till late with this but from the date I was given at the scan I would have felt baby around 11 weeks

CantRainAllTheTime · 01/03/2019 17:34

Hi, I am 24 weeks pregnant with number 5. My other dc are G, G, B, B and aged 13, 12, 10 and 9. I am having another DS.

I am 34 now and this pregnancy has been much rougher. It was identical twins but by 9 weeks one had disappeared. I have the worst indigestion and heart burn, all day and can't walk far without getting pain in my back and legs. I can't sleep at night and end up sleeping once the kids go to school. I've been anemic since 8 weeks pregnant but neither the midwife or the GP actually told me so I have only just started iron tablets today.

Aside from all that, I am excited to be having another even if he was a hell of a surprise. He will definitely be my last and will be my DH first.

I had text book spontaneous labours with my others, no tears, stitches or anything. From 1st to last mylabours were 10 hours, 7 hours, 6 hours and 4 hours. My last labour I arrived at the hospital fully dilated and he was born half an hour later with no patun relief bccause the gas and air machine went faulty!

I'm hoping that having found this pregnancy to be rougher than the others, it doesn't mean labour will be too!

flowersaremyfave · 02/03/2019 00:13

@CantRainAllTheTime congratulations 🎉

Sorry to hear you've had it rough so far. My 5th was by far the hardest pregnancy I'd ever had and she also started of as a twin but it disappeared too!

I too got to hospital in labour with her to find out I was fully dilated and she was born 24 minutes later 🙈 I'm also 34 lol how strange 😂

Hope things start getting better for you, theres nothing worse than a shit pregnancy, it makes you so miserable.

cantrain are you consultant led as you have similarities to me also! If so how have you found it?

IVEgottheDECAF · 07/03/2019 10:51

Hi ladies how are we all doing?

I have now had to self cert from work due to the spd at only 14 weeks Sad

flowersaremyfave · 07/03/2019 13:15

Hi, I had an early scan yesterday and it looks like blighted ovum. Empty sac measuring 6+3 I've got to go back next Wednesday to be re scanned but it doesn't look promising 😔

flowersaremyfave · 07/03/2019 15:26
