Gradvalax salmon / raw salmon

My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and has been eating sensibly throughout. A few days ago, she consumed some gradvalax salmon, thinking this was smoked salmon (at a wedding). I understand that gradvalax is raw/cured salmon and it has now made me worried that she will get some sort of listeria problem. It was only a fairly small amount, but has made me worry.

She has not felt ill or anything, and Im assuming that the amount consumed was too small to cause any problem. Can anyone put my mind to rest?
Thanks

It'll be fine, gravadlax is cured and the commercial stuff is most likely frozen too. And farmed salmon in the UK is unlikely to have parasites etc in the first place which is the main worry with raw fish.

I ate some at Christmas.

You are no more likely to get food poisoning when you are pregnant than when you are not pregnant. It's just that it can have consequences. Unless everyone at that wedding has started to come down with food poisoning there is nothing to worry about.

Thank you for your answers so far. Im not so worried about the food poisoning, Im pretty confident she wont have that. Just read that you can catch listeria and not even know about it. Im sure its just me being a nervous wreck, but wondered if anyone else had also eaten it etc and if you would have to have a certain amount to pose any risk

That's not true at all. Pregnant women have a reduced immune system and they are, for example, 10 times more likely to contract listeria than the general population.

The food was prepared by a reputable caterer, so I am just assuming it was prepared well and good quality. Hopefully I can stop worrying?
