Afternoon all
How long did it take for your positive pregnancy test line to be really dark I'm so paranoid as mine are still light they are getting darker but nothing as dark as the other line

Thank you x

Mine never got really dark. I'm 13 weeks now.

Sevo7 · 12/02/2019 13:20

Mine took until 26dpo to be as dark as the control line on the majority of tests,so almost 6 weeks pregnant.

GemmaJen · 12/02/2019 13:43

Depends on the test brand I think, I never saw much difference in the frer lines, but my one step test lines got much darker over a few days.

Ckh220330 · 12/02/2019 13:44

I did one yesterday at 8w and it still wasn't as dark and strong as the control line! It's One Step. Feel free to post a pic on here if you want a second opinion but if you're seeing a clear pink line on 15 tests, it sounds like you're definitely pregnant. Congratulations!

Ckh220330 · 12/02/2019 15:20

I'm not sure if it will let me post it as I'm a new member and it kept declining yesterday , I think I'm just panicking iv had really bad health the past year with major surgery so keep thinking something bad is going to happen again

Hmm, the first one is pretty faint but the second one is clear. It looks positive to me. How many DPO are you?

Ckh220330 · 12/02/2019 15:39

The first one is abit brighter I just can't pick it up well on the camera , I was due on the 9th , I'm having lots of symptoms too all like I did with my 3 children xx

If I were you I would take a clearblue digital to see if it says 1-2 or 2-3. It should say 2-3?if you were due 3 days ago.
And take 75mg aspirin daily unless you have a medical reason why you cannot.

MyDcAreMarvel · 12/02/2019 15:42

1/4 of a regular aspirin.

Ckh220330 · 12/02/2019 15:49

I never show up on clear blue for some very strange reason , I'm allergic to aspirin sadly , I'm hoping they start getting darker I do very much have lots of symptoms early that's what made me do the tests. Xx

With my 4 pregnancies I’ve never had more than a faint line.
With DS I didn’t find out I was pregnant until 8 weeks and that was such a faint line that DH didn’t believe it! he’s now an almost 2 year old.
Then had 2 second trimester losses, didn’t test until around 6 weeks, both faint lines.
With my current pregnancy I didn’t test until 8/9 weeks as I was scared (knew I was pregnant from symptoms but mentally protecting myself mentally from another loss I guess) and the line was very faint... I’m now due in 5 weeks!

MyDcAreMarvel · 12/02/2019 16:07

That’s rubbish you are allergic to aspirin. Please try not to worry I know it’s hard I had a miscarriage last June and lines never got darker. However you are very early and your lines are nothing to worry about at this stage. Also some pregnancies lines never get dark.
The fact that you have symptoms is a really positive sign.
