I don’t but following for the replies as we’ve just ordered one for DS due in the summer!

I have one. Has served me very well for 4 years. A very light pram and easy to use. We have loved it

Move2WY · 05/02/2019 22:08

Only drawback os the basket underneath isn’t great so we invested in a hook to hold extra bits

NotTired · 05/02/2019 22:12

I have one. It's such a lovely pram, sadly abit too small for DS now. I did at first find if quite bulky, and it uses the majority of the boot but so much easier to push than the stroller I have now.

I love mine. The best thing is being able to move the handle bars from front to back and to easily swap from parent facing to forward facing. You can also make more room if you’re in a cafe by shifting the handle bars - my friends were quite jealous of that feature but hard to explain it in writing.

On the down side, the basket is a bit rubbish when using the carry cot and it’s a bit heavier than some but I never had any regrets.

It depends how you’re going to use it though- If you’re going to be on public transport a lot, it’s perhaps not the best choice but if you’re mainly in the car or walking it’s brilliant. You do need a reasonably sized boot though.

Also like a previous poster I hate pushing my (admittedly dirt cheap and somewhat shite) stroller. We ended up using the bugaboo for a lot longer because it was far nicer to push and only ever used the stroller for airports or places where there might be steps.

I love mine so much! Pros-
Turns on a v tight circle so v manoueverable
"Old/ie not 3+ model" has a drawstring basket to keep stuff dry and fit loads of things in there.
V easy to push and steer
Comfy for baby
Feels v light
Hand break feels more secure than foot
Big back wheels to bump up and down steps
customisable
Great hood - spf 50 and it extends very far
Long bassinet so lovely and spacious
Looks so pretty
You can spin it around so the back wheels are at the front (for muddy walks)
Has a 2 wheel mode for beach and snow
Fits well in my boot but my boot is massive! I feel it folds small ish
Has a "tilt" option for bassinet to help with reflux
Loads of seat angles
Very rugged and suits all services
Foam wheels so no punctures!
Lockable wheels

Cons
Hand break hard for parents or people with arthritis to use
Seat is quite low
This affects the basket when you have the bassinet on
Doesn't convert to tandem
Doesn't fold in one piece

The Fox is kind of similar maybe better for country whereas the cam is good for the city.

By parents i meant as in my mum and MIL (ie older people) forgot im the parent now!!

TheBubGrower · 05/02/2019 22:28

Love ours and still using it for my 3 year old. I'm surprised people saying it's not light as it weighs less than most other comparable pushchairs IIRC eg icandy etc. Really easy to push, fold and adjust. Doesn't fold in one, which is a drawback but I managed to fit ours in a city car boot with room for a couple of bags of shopping and if you fit the pieces together well in the boot it's no bigger than other models. Also the wheels come off really easily to give you more space. The carrycot is roomy so lasts well for as long as baby needs to be flat. This is large to store but does fold down to make it less bulky. I like the handbrake feature. Hood is huge so great for shading or sheltering baby from wind. My LO has always been really comfy in it. Pretty good off road. Would recommend!

TheBubGrower · 05/02/2019 22:31

Ooh there's a trick with the handbrake to release it FYI! press the lever down slightly before releasing the button and you'll find it's much easier to release the button

I prefer the buffalo and fox (though only tried the fox in a shop). I live bugaboo thought-provoking really great to steer, very light to handle, easy to use and well designed. Very sturdy and robust.

Things I don't like about the cameleon- hand brake is fiddly and breaks easily. Fold mechanism has known issues, basket is hard to access. All of these issues are resolved in n both buffalo and fox.

I'd definitely get a bugaboo though (weve also had a silver cross pioneer, city mini baby jogger and icandy peach, bugaboo us far superior to them all).

MulderitsmeX · 05/02/2019 22:35

TheBubGrower thanks! Will try it now but will make my mum and mil v happy :)

Endofrelationship · 05/02/2019 23:18

I live bugaboo thought-provoking I don't know wtf autocorrect was thinking. Should have been "I love bugaboo though- great to steer"

Starsandthemoonx · 06/02/2019 09:14

We have a bugaboo and I love it, the only downside is the basket is small and close to the seat, not a good pram to fit lots of shopping in for example.

Campurp · 06/02/2019 10:40

Hiya, we looked at lots of pranks and decided to go for the bugaboo Fox. This is a good article about the differences and similarities between the fox & chameleon : strolleria.com/blogs/news/bugaboo-fox-vs-bugaboo-cameleon-stroller-comparison

Endofrelationship · 06/02/2019 13:29

With regard to differences between the buffalo and the cameleon, the buffalo seat us higher, has a foot brake and the basket is easier to access. The front wheels are also bigger. It can do all the things the cameleon can do but it's slightly bigger overall.
