Starting to get bits and pieces in for when baby arrives.

We don't have a garden or space for drying, so reusables are a no-go.

How many do babies use each day roughly? What sizes should we get in? Which brand is the best? Diaper genie or not? Help!

TIA Smile

Aldi's brand - Mamia are amazing. We have the angelcare nappy bin and it's great. No smells from it

It depends on how you’re feeding tbh. Breastfed babies tend to poo more in the first few weeks - every feed with my ds!
I ff my dd and she pooed once a day.

I went by the rule of changing every 2 hours as standard then as and when needed in between so around 10 per day as a guideline. I found pampers and asda nappies leaked and found a happy medium between boots and Tesco

We went straight into size 2. I tried all different brands and they all suited my baby fairly well, so now we just buy whatever supermarket brand is there depending on which shop we are in that week.

We do buy pampers if they are on offer but I only find them to be ever so slightly better so we don't splurge on them at full price.

We are using Tesco own brand for our 2nd. We used them for our first and had no problems with them. I dont like pampers as tend to find that they have a perfume smell to them.

I agree with some of the other posters though, dont go buying loads in case they dont work for your baby as you dont want to go wasting time and money.

Thank you everyone. Lots to think about certainly!

I'd say definitely go with pampers. I've tried loads of different brands but I found pampers are the best! Also I always used bethantan the nappy cream is amazing too. I used it every nappy change just to make sure the nappy didn't rub on the skin! Constant changing nappies at the beginning especially as their skin is so delicate ! I'd say 10 a day may be right for a new born I can't quite remember!
