Sharp twinges of pain that have changed sides

So this is my third pregnancy in a year after 2 miscarriages. This is the first time I remember having this pain on one side so i’ve been worrying about an ectopic pregnancy. I have an ache that sometimes sends out twinges of pain especially when I just stand or sit in one spot (usually better when lying down or moving more vigorously). I already expressed my concern about the right side to my doctor and she said it could be normal. I went home feeling better and also the pain seemed to subside but now it’s come back but this time on my left side. I can’t figure out what’s going on. I wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience. I would think if it was ectopic it wouldn’t just switch sides but I could be wrong. I’m very worried. By the way I will be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow so it’s very early on so I’m still waiting to get my first ultrasound and am very anxious.

Hey, I couldn't help but notice this post.

I am 5 weeks today. I had twinges last week on my right, got that checked in case it's ectopic (was too early to get it checked) but I was told my ovary was slightly swollen so that's why I could be having the aches. Last night the pain/twinge shifted to the left. On breathing, the twinge gets more pronounced like there's a knot there. I did have an ectopic last year that resulted in the removal of my left tube so I am not sure what this twinge on the left is about, since there's no tube there! Every little thing is worrying! I hope you get an early scan too at 6/7 weeks.
When I had my ectopic last year, it started with a twinge on my left, and got worse every two/three days and the pain was sharp/stabbing pain on the left and in the rectum. It's nth like that but still on the edge. X
