High risk results for Downs Test - positive stories ?

I received a phone call today that my blood has come back as high risk for Downs Syndrome with a 1 in 34 chance . I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss what happens next , tests etc. I think we are going to opt for private testing as I know there's a risk of miscarriage with an amniocentesis

Just wondering if anyone else has had similar results and gone on to have better results at the next testing ? I'm terrified ! Trying to stay optimistic but can't put it out of my mind

I know, I loved getting to know the baby's sex for certain as a bonus! Couldn't have dealt with crossed legs at the 20 week scan haha. Mine's a boy too.

Just been to visit my mum and she's bought a pile of boys stuff already haha! She's got 5 granddaughters already this is the first boy so think she might have been a bit excited to buy blue lol
