Where do you feel/see movement?

I am 26 weeks FTM and been feeling movement for quite a while but getting a lot more frequent now and I am able to see the movement quite often but I am yet to feel/see anything higher than my belly button. My pregnancy app says that by this stage my uterus is very close to my rib cage so I thought I would feel movement a bit higher up? Sometimes it's still really low, so low that I can't see it because of my bump 🙈

Just wondering where everyone else feels there's? Is it later on in pregnancy when it moves higher or does it just always stay quite low?

Maybe the baby hasn't yet gone into head down position? My baby is head down now (30 weeks) so I feel kicks up high but a week ago he was breech so mainly felt kicks lower down and in my cervix. When he did turn it was a horrible sensation as he's quite big now. Im sure you'll start to feel kicks higher up in your belly soon (providing baby doesn't stay breech of course).

I'm 28+4 and like PP baby is head down so now I feel kicks higher up, at night time when baby is most active I feel movement on the lower left side but it doesn't feel like kicks. Only way to describe it is that it feels like knocking on my tummy as if it was a door

Thank you! When should baby change position?

Varies a lot. Think majority of the time it's between 28-32 weeks but every baby is different. For example I had an nhs scan at 28 weeks and baby was head down, then went for a private scan a week later and baby was breech. Then had another one this week (30 weeks) and baby had moved head down again. Fingers crossed he stays that way now. As previously mentioned it's not the nicest feeling when they turn later on in pregnancy lol!

@Lizbiz89 ahh not looking forward to that feeling then!
I'm sure my midwife will let me know if there's any concerns at my next appointment I just didn't expect to be feeling kicks so low down so far on
