Quick fix - constipation hell!

Just wondering what will be the quickest fix for bad constipation. I'm 30 weeks and I've barely managed to go the last few days. I'm drinking loads of water, eating yogurt and raisins and also a really healthy diet. However I'm still struggling to go! Please can you recommend any quick fixes? I'm getting the point where I just feel sick with bloat.

For me, a cup full of prune juice - worked within an hour.

I lived on smoothies through my pregnancy, which seemed to help.

Prune juice as per PP. It took me a few days to go when pregnant after the juice but it does help.

Thanks I'll make sure I get some prune juice tomorrow. I've started back on the movicol which I was taking after I had my dd due to severe piles. Hopefully it kicks in soon!

Strong coffee!

Squatty potty (bit more long term).

I'd recommend eating pears, dates, raspberries, high fibre cereals and melon ( due to high water content) and lots of water. Some of which you may have tried already.

Have prunes not raisons.

Thanks for the advice everyone. @Disfordarkchocolate what's a squatty potty just out of interest?

Baked beans on wholemeal toast.

The squatty potty puts you in a better position to poo without straining. Google squatty potty advert and your eyes will be opened. Sorry I can't post a ytube link for some reason.

Fruit and fiber cereal and tinned peaches, pear and prunes daily.

If it really bad the GP can prescribe medication which can help.
