Can't sleep for all this kicking!

I know I should be so grateful that my little girl is healthy and actively kicking away in there so much but I am really struggling here.

She simply does not stop kicking and wriggling for a single second of the night and I am now on night three with less than an hour's sleep. I'm almost 28 weeks now so still a good chunk of time left, is this what the rest of pregnancy is going to be like?? I am so unbearably tired :'(

I struggled at first but been getting sleep over this last week in 32 weeks so maybe you’ll also get use to it 🤞🏾

I was the same, it was awful! I'm 30 weeks now and I seem to have gotten used to it. I'm still not sleeping great but it's definitely more bearable. And I know the baby is still kicking through the night as every time I wake up the baby is practicing his karate! Hopefully you start to get better sleep soon.

I’m exactly the same, I think I’ve had this since around week 22 and I’m 29 weeks now. I’ve found a pregnancy pillow really helps me to fall asleep when she’s kicking, my LO is most active anytime between 11pm - 3am and then around 7am ish so I really feel for you!

I'd like to second the pregnancy pillow. My baby is very much the same (I predict a future kick boxing champion). I didn't get the pillow to help with the kicking, but I was surprised to find it does make a difference to how sore / jolting the kicks can be when I'm on my side. Now I just lie awake because I get cramp on my side... Good luck.
