Hello,
I am currently pg with dc3 (7 weeks) it’s early days yet but I normally eat very well and train 5 days a week. I feel sick so struggling with the high protein and calorie counting element so was gunna switch to slimming world for damage limitation.
I have done it before with success but find it better in a group. Anyone fancy starting a thread here?
I don’t want to pay to go to an actual group if I can help it, this should be enough if we are all in the same boat

Can I join the SW party?! Currently 26 weeks and 9.5lb down from when I started at 13 weeks! I put on 4stone with my son and never lost it...so here I am trying to do damage limitation!! I salute those of you in your 1st trimester and sticking to it!! I think for the first 12 weeks all I ate was wotsits and satsumas haha!

Hiya I'm 28 weeks and taking a relaxed approach to following slimming world. I stopped going to class when I was 8 weeks. I've gained 1 stone so far and it seems to just be bump.. kinda worried about the pounds piling on in the last 12 weeks so here to re-commit! So will be following pregnancy plan with extra healthy extras and my own addition of apple juice every morning because I CANNOT give that up

I’ve had a rubbish week with food! Don’t know what’s come over me?! But sitting down this morning to make a food plan for the week!

Also the battery has gone in my scales...I’m thinking it’s a sign to maybe stop with the weighing until after the baby is born. I wasn’t overweight to start with so I’m hoping to be gaining still anyway!

What is everyone doing RE weighing in...?

I'm keeping an eye on my weight most days becuase I was very over weight to start with. My BMI+age+number of pregnancies means I'll need fragmin injections from 28w. Part of me is hoping if I'm super sensible I might not need them... very unlikely!

14wks today and still 3lb under my start weight (of 215lb!!!Blush) there is a lot of me stored up for baby to use, so I'm just trying to eat sensibly and eat lots of fruit and veg because our bodies don't store vitamin C. Avoiding sweets and sugary drinks mainly and trying to stick to SW principles of home cooked foods.

It's funny because I read these posts of people being hard on themselves, saying they've had extra on juices, sweets and other syns and I just think "oh please don't be hard on yourself you're pregnant!" But if I go over at all or eat the "wrong" thing, I am my own worst enemy! Anyone else? I think everyone here is doing a fab job at trying to have a healthy pregnancy which is great as so many mum's reach for the daily McDonald's, cheese board or pizza (me in 1st pregnancy!) Xxx

Like lovelyhealthymama I’m taking a relaxed approach. I’m 12 weeks (could be 16 weeks, but dating scan on Thursday to confirm!) this week and all I have been having is crumpets, white toast (Warburtons or the fresh stuff) and jacket potatoes with butter. It’s like the best thing I’ve ever tasted at the moment! Lol.

I’m hoping I’ll be able to start eating more sensibly balanced meals soon, but having said that morning sickness kicked in properly today and it’s a struggle.

Oh deffo to hard on myself! But I just know with my other 2 children how much I regretted not being in control of it a bit more through my pregnancy and left with 4 stone odd to loose after with a newborn!
Like the above poster carbs are my friend and taste so good at the moment! I feel like I’ve got an awful hangover and this weekend been eating like it. But today is a new day! I’ve managed the gym and will have a good week on plan in determined
