Hi, obviously 5am is the best time to be thinking of these things but I am due to be delivered on Monday (tomorrow - eek) and having mini panics about what I don't have. Many moons ago I trained as a nursery nurse and we always used T&T bowls when changing nappies but do I need one at home? I was thinking I would just use a clean ice cream container or Tupperware box and do top first tail second.
What does everyone else use? I don't want to give in to the marketing/pressure and buy everything buy equally I want to get it right! 😊

Congrats and good luck with delivery. Im just using an old mixing bowl upstairs and a regular kitchen bowl downstairs the same one on wash and repeat. It's fine. Does the job. I was going to use water wipes but pfb and i keep changing the goal posts and sticking with water Grin. At first i had a two week water to wipes cut off now i've moved it back to a month unless out and about then the water wipes come out lol!

30+ years ago I got one for DD1
Used it once

When DD2 came along I used an ice cream tub!

Congratulations! I had one. I used it for my two children. You don’t need one. You top first, which is the top end of the baby, eg face and the tail, is the bottom half of the baby. I am a Nursery nurse too. People do expect you to know I think all, as you have worked looking after children. It is a totally different ball game looking after your own. You are handed a beautiful tiny baby and basically told to get on with it! It’s worth it.

I have 3 kids number 4 on the way. Have been very lucky that not one of them have ever suffered even a little nappy rash so all good, and I have no idea what a top and tail bowl is so can't be necessary.xx
