Hematoma- should I go back to work?

Hi
I had an early scan this week at 7 weeks as I have had some bleeding and spotting.
The scan showed a healthy baby so far with heartbeat but they also said I have an hematoma. The doctor that reviewed the scan told me to continue as normal and stop worrying. However I have read and heard lots of advice that says it’s better to rest. I am due to go back to work next week, I am a Reception teacher and taking it easy and light duties aren’t really possible.
Does Anyone have any advice please? I had a MMC in aug last year and terrified that I’m going to lose those baby too.
Thank you xx

Personally l would rest. I had two subchorionic haematomas and bled off and on - sometimes heavily - from 6-18 weeks. Baby is now almost 2. It was always worse if I was moving around lots. They say don’t do anything different as if you’re going to lose it, there’s nothing you can do anyway. But then another doctor said to me that rest helps the haematoma “organise” itself, stabilise and be reabsorbed by the body. Resting also helps you feel like you’re doing what you can to help yourself (even if in reality you have no control). Do what you think is right for you.
