Is pregnancy grumpiness same as sleep deprivation grumpy?

My biggest worry about when the baby arrives is that currently when I am feeling poorly and tired during pregnancy I am so grumpy with my poor DD and can't be bothered to play. I'm so worried that I'm going to be so sleep deprived that I'm going to be the same if not worse when the baby comes. First time round it just didn't matter as I napped all the time! Does anyone have any tips on how to survive the tiredness to get through the grumpiness and still staying a positive happy mummy?! HmmConfused

Oh you poor thing. The hormonal exhaustion is just the pits. I remember so well after one of mine (I have four... no clue which one) being so so relieved that I was now only sleep deprived tired and not the pregnancy brain foggy hormonal tired. So I would say hold on, there is hope.

Also dont be too hard on yourself. How old is DD? I always find forcing myself to go out or meet up with others helps. That and cake 😳 If they are old enough to enjoy to it will not kill them to do a bit more of that for a couple months.

Thank you, that's reassuring! It's been pretty rough so far I'm on week 10 of being sick every day and I really cannot be bothered to role play when I feel ill and tired! I will indeed keep hope, I just feel so guilty already that I dread to think what mum guilt is like going from 1 to 2! Good tip for getting out and cake!
