Handy equipment for second baby

I'm due to have my second baby is April and I was just wondering whether second time mums could advise me on any baby equipment they couldn't live without with second baby.

I'm fully aware that there will be even more multi tasking involved with the second one so I would be interested to know if there was anything that came in handy the second time around. Thanks

It's not baby equipment as such but gin has helped a lot.

I’m pregnant with my second like you OP but have a couple of friends who’ve had their second babies recently.

One told me that she barely uses the pram, she said that she didn’t use it a great deal with her first but even less so with her second. She used a sling/wrap for when the baby was tiny and now he’s a bit bigger she uses a back carrier. She also said that instead of a highchair, she got a booster seat which clips onto a normal kitchen chair so that baby can sit up to the table.

My other friend breastfed for the first 5 months but switched to FF after this time, she said that she couldn’t have done without her tommee tippee prep machine, especially now she’s onto her second. She said it’s saved her so much time and means that she doesn’t have to make bottles up the night before and reheat them.

Sling

Hands free cuddles, hoovering, naps, playing with toddler. 100 % the best thing I bought. Close caboo up to 4 months then rose and rebellion from 4 to 18 months. Literally changed my life.

Thanks ladies! Sounds like a sling is going on my shopping list then! I do have a baby carrier for dog walking but would be handy to have a lighter one around the house.
