Car seat dilemma!

So I have bought a travel system which obviously comes with a car seat that clips on to the chassis and have also got the isofix that clips into the car. But I just feel like it's a bit flimsy and am considering buying this mini mouse rear facing proper seat in the george baby event that does from new born and up that Will stay permanently in car. Luckily I have a big boot so can pop the full pram in there. Which means the isofix can go into daddys car for the rare occasion he takes her out in it. What I want to know is
1- how long is a baby in the travel system car seat?
2- is buying another car seat a waste of money?
3- would a proper seat be safer or am I worrying for no reason?.

An Isafe travel system is of much higher safety standards than those that aren't so I wouldn't unduly panic. I did extensive research on our for a few weeks and we've bought a silver Cross wayfarer with the britax isafe and adapters to allow for the britax to be used on the pram. The reason for this is the pram comes with the pushchair seat allowing it to be used to 25kg rather than the usual 15kg, along with being lightweight and easy to collapse and put together. The britax isafe has by far the highest safety standards from what I've seen but even then it may not tilt back far enough without the isofix in my partner's car without the base to be safe.
The best thing to do is look up the safety standards of what you're buying or in this case bought and check if the manufacturer has crash tested it in your car and then have a trained person fit it in your car to look not only for how well it fits but if there's a great enough chin to chest ratio.

Sorry for essay but I just wanted to give out some help and advice as I've found it a minefield and even though I feel like I can't shout loudly enough about what we've bought it wouldn't suit everyone, it is really important to check what fits your car and have it fitted to ensure the highest safety for your own little ones.

The Minnie mouse one is one of these own brand ones like Argos own ones and are not safe at all especially for younger babies!

Look on good egg safety or again the Facebook group as they will be able to find the right seat for your:
