Older mum to be !!!!

Hey I have just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant , i have 2 children already , I’m a older mum too 43 😱 although I feel 23 sometimes lol just wondered if anyone else is out there who might be a slightly older mum to be and we can chat and compare etc ! X

I have fibroids, but so far have not caused me problems. Fatigue has returned even though 18 weeks now. I do wonder if it's easier to be pregnant when younger. Mentally I have been very unwell and on antidepressants at the moment. My first trimester was very hard. How ha everyone else's experience been?

Hi OP, I had my first (and only) at 45. Trouble free pregnancy, apart from slightly swollen feet at 38 weeks, so I stopped commuting.
I had an amnio which was ok. Not uncomfortable. Went into labour naturally at 40 + 5 and ds was born 36 hours later.

People kept remarking on my age but I didn’t feel old. Don’t let people make too much of it. You’ll know yourself when you’re tired. I’m very envious. Congratulations
