Thanks for this - I had the jag in my last pregnancy and felt awful afterwards so wasn’t sure if I’d go for it this time - will go and get it done asap.

Bloody hell, that sounds awful. Had mine at 20ish weeks I think. Felt a bit under the weather/tired for a day or so and arm ached like buggery for days, but no major side FX – and clearly worth it!

Flumpy, it’s beyond horrible isn’t it?

For those lucky enough not to have it, you know when you want to cough something up to clear your chest? Well the mucus I had with this wasn’t a great deal but it was a weird consistency, like egg whites, maybe thicker, and would COVER my wind pipe. There wasn’t enough to fetch up, but enough to choke me. I too could only sleep sitting up. As soon as I lay down, I’d cough to vomiting. It was exhausting, and it frightened the children too! I can see how it would kill people, quite easily.

@GG2233 if he can't protect against whooping cough may I suggest you fuck off?

I've reported you on at least 10 threads this evening for spam Biscuit

flumpybear · 15/01/2019 07:17

Joys @Kerrygeld had another coughing/retching incident this morning, exactly as you said in your last comment - post shower and thankfully I didn't pee myself!! Blush

I am pleased to report that once you’re over the worst of it, bladder function does return normally. But for a while I thought I’d be buying tena lady for a lifetime. This wasn’t a quick whizz, this was full on no control flood.

I downloaded an app called squeasy which helps you do pelvic floor exercises, and now I reckon I could crack walnuts. Smile

Yes, I'll be getting it but they only offer it from 28 weeks. I've seen the effects of whooping cough in young babies and it's put the fear of God into me.

Not tried tena- are they the same as Always etc?
