Slightly worried

Hi there. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and for the last week now and then I've had slight cramping, which when I told my midwife was completely normal.
Last night I took 3 trips to the toilet for a wee. This morning I've woke up which what feels like not cramps but more like pressure on my bladder I would say. Almost a bit like that numb feeling in your lower abdomen when you're on your period. Is this normal and has anyone had this happen before?
I've read a lot about how your cervix is stretching but it's not a painful pain. It just feels like pressure. Any help would be appreciated xx 😊

I had a lot of the types of feelings you are describing early in my pregnancy, uncomfortable cramps and weird pressures but not excruciating pains. It seems like it’s all part of it and just your uterus stretching as baby is growing. Mine didn’t last too long and even now at 37 weeks I barely have any twinges or pain since those early days. Unless the pains become very severe or are accompanied by blood, I wouldn’t worry too much ❤️

@Olivecake thanks for the reassurance x
I've been doing a lot of googling this morning haha I guess it's normal then. Wow 37 weeks! You definitely don't have long left now. Good luck to you 😊

Definitely normal! Between 5 and 8 weeks (I'm now 10 weeks) I constantly felt sure my period was about to start. Books and internet all say it's just implantation at first, then the uterus growing and stretching, and everything down there just re-adjusting. In the last week or two it has become more of a stretching feeling higher up in my belly, almost like I've been doing crunches (which I DEFINITELY haven't! Grin). Don't worry and enjoy!
